Hi!

For my bat mitzvah project I will be raising money for girls in Bet Elazraki and buying them Bat Mitzvah presents. Bet Elazraki is a home in Israel for children who can't live in their home, as their parents can’t take care of them.  There are 9 amazing girls that have Bat Mitzvahs coming up, but maybe don't get presents. I was lucky enough to get to spend Shabbat there and get to know the girls. I can't wait to go back in a few weeks and spend time with them and give them their gifts.

Bet Elazraki in Netanya is a safe and loving home to hundreds of at-risk children ages 6-18. These children were removed from dysfunctional, and often life-threatening, family situations. It is Bet Elazraki's mission to embrace and nurture each and every child, to break the cycle of distress, and help each child reach his/her full potential.  At Bet Elazraki, children heal and begin to thrive as the devoted staff helps them shed their pain, cope with their trauma, and bridge gaps to allow them to fulfill their potential. For children brought to their doorstep, Bet Elazraki is a home for life. It is not a short-term crises facility-it is their home and their family.
