Bet Elazraki Children`s Home, located in Netanya, Israel, was founded in 1969 to help children in distress. Today we are the loving home of more than 200 children, boys and girls ages 0-18 (the youngest one is 3 weeks old), whose parents are incapable of raising them. This is due to violence in the home, drug abuse, alcoholism, mental illness, severe poverty, abandonment or a combination of the above. 90% of our children are second and third generation to the vicious cycle of distress, meaning that their parents also grew up in institutions.  44% are immigrants; 19% Ethiopians, 25% Russian. The Welfare Department and the Israeli Courts refer each child that we receive at our doorstep. The children are from all over Israel. Every child is burdened with painful memories.

Our devoted, professional staff lives at the Home with the children and attends to their physical needs, education, enrichment and entertainment. In this manner we try to provide them with a normal family environment and help them build a new bright future for themselves.

Our main goal is to break the vicious cycle of distress into which they were born with no fault on their part. To make sure their children will grow in healthy, promoting homes and loving parents.
