Hello, If you didn’t know me yet, my name is Jessica Paige Sperling or in Hebrew, Esther Perel.

I am soon to be 13 years old and I live in Randolph, New Jersey. My Bat Mitzvah will be taking place in Israel on December 24, 2018. 

For my Bat Mitzvah Project, I plan to raise money for Bet Elazraki, in Israel. Bet Elazraki is a home for life to over 200 at risk children ages 6-18. My thought was to help raise money to buy sports equipment for these kids that may not be able to afford it themselves. I have been playing sports my whole life and I know how expensive gear like hockey equipment, soccer cleats, sports balls, etc… can be. I feel that it is important for everyone to play a sport or do an activity while not having to worry about the equipment, just being able to play it for fun. I also can imagine how hard it is for a kid when he/she can't play sports because it costs too much. Sports are a healthy thing to do because they allow for physical activity in a fun setting and we all deserve the chance to play what we wish to. 

I believe that if I raise money for Bet Elazraki, I will make a big difference for those children in need. I would like to ask any family members or friends if they would like to join me and donate towards improving the sports experiences for the children at Bet Elazraki and help change some people's lives today.
