Dear Friends and Family,

It is hard to believe, on the second day of Shavuot will be our beloved daughter, Rebekah Anne A”H fifth yahrzeit. First and foremost, our family would like to thank everyone for the generous contributions made to the Rebekah Frucht Memorial Fund which has raised a total of $32,090 in 2016.  This special fund helps support the animal and art therapy at Emunah Bet Elazraki children’s home in Netanya, Israel.

Emunah Bet Elazraki Children's Home was established in 1969, home to over 200 at-risk children, 6-18 years old. The children were born to multi-generational welfare families, referred to their care from all over Israel by the Israeli welfare authorities. The children were removed from life threatening dangers. At Bet Elazraki children develop their potential once being helped to overcome their pain, deal with their trauma, bridge gaps and fulfill their potential.

The essential work being done at the Home is to redirect children and break the cycle of despair. For children brought to Bet Elazraki it is a home for life. They will be there for them, always. The life changing transformation is possible because of the three-point paradigm they Home's professional staff has developed; Stability, Scholastic success, Therapeutic Intervention.

With your generous support the animal and art therapy programs will continue to thrive and insure that every child has the ability to heal their wounded souls.

Bekah’s legacy was one of love and giving. Her life’s journey was to help others, and she did it well. She did it selflessly, never expecting or wanting anything in return.
