This organization is very special to me because it has saved my sanity many times. As many of you know, I have a wonderful son, Shmuel, who has autism.  While we love him very much it is sometimes a little difficult having  him at home with the other kids around because he needs so much attention.  Ezrat Achim has provided a wonderful service by making a day camp for the time period in the summer when there is no school.  Without it, so many parents of special needs children are at their wits' end.  But because, B"H, special needs affects only a minority of families, their pool for rundraising is very small.  They are therefore turning to the broader community with this very original idea to garner support for their cause.  Anyone who raises at least $90*/360 shekels can enter into a race to win a shopping cart full of groceries. 

Now, summer is fast approaching and Ezrat Achim needs a budget of over $100,000 for this crucial program.  I am personally trying to raise at least $2000. I know you are bombarded with requests all the time for money, so I greatly appreciate any donation, however small.
