Ezrat Achim was founded in 1997.  In response to growing community needs the organization has grown to become a large scale medical and social support network serving thousands of city residents  and  standing proudly as a "beacon of unity”, assisting one as all in a community with a diverse religious and cultural population.

Today the Ezrat Achim Center boasts a large warehouse of cutting edge medical equipment worth thousands of dollars, loaned free of charge to residents of the city. Transportation to hospitals, special needs services , x-ray and imaging centers, Shabbat/weekend clinics, bilirubin testing, and  access to alternative burn treatment are just a few of the extensive services offered.

 Ezrat Achim Special Needs Division

 Special needs children are special. They are more sensitive, vulnerable, and easily hurt than other children. They need specialized instruction; they need a safe and nurturing haven for their free time. Our programs offer the children a home-like environment, filled with activity and friendship as well as professional guidance and skill development.

Having a special needs child changes your life forever. Feelings of how to manage and where to go for help can overwhelm parents. Ezrat Achim hears this cry and provides parents with solutions.

Our centers,  staffed by teams of professionals together with dedicated volunteers  are open literally 365 days a year , on Shabbat, Chagim, fast days, Yom Kippur…. providing fun and activity for the children while ensuring much needed respite for parents and siblings.

With Ezrat Achim families of special needs children are never alone.
