Hey everyone! So most of are probably wondering why/ how I'm going to run this 10k. In the beginning of the year, I decided it would be a good idea to run the 10k. So I found a friend to train me (shoutout to Nicole) and a partner (kinda- Geffie) and I set out to run 6 miles. Not so long after I found out I had excercise induced athsma. So much for that idea. But thenn I heard that the Darkaynu girls in my school were running the 10k. How could I turn down a chance to from with team Darkaynu? So, I guess I'm doing a 10k. Well,the how I can't quite answer right now, but I'm working on it (hey I have athsma!). The why is much easier. This year I am in Midreshet Lindenbaum(who are we kidding, it's Brovenders) and I have the privilege to interact with Darkaynu on a daily basis.Darkaynu is a special program in Israel gears toward boys and girls with a range of disabilities. Darkaynu is amazing. Amazing enough to make me, Raizy Cohen, run a 10k. It's not going to be easy, and I'm certainlynot the poster child for physically activity, but I'mso excited to run for (and with) darkaynu! Wish me luck! #teamdarkaynu
