The Elaine and Norm Brodsky Darkaynu Programs were created in 2002 to answer the call of young women and men with disabilities who so badly wanted to experience a Year in Israel just like their manstream siblings, peers, and neighbors.  Our carefully tailored "side-streaming" program successfully caters to the unique needs of these young adults from all over the world.

Our students study alongside their mainstream peers in Jerusalem's Midreshet Lindenbaum and in Yeshivat Har Etzion.

Our programming affords these young men and women the opportunity of a lifetime: they get the chance to learn real relevant Torah, to tour Eretz Yisrael, spend Shabbos with friends.

Above all, perhaps, our students have the opportunity to spend a full year away from home - learning how to think and learn and live on their own.  They learn about themselves; their strengths and weaknesses, and what they have to offer Klal Yisrael as individuals and as part of their greater Jewish community.
