Dear Friends,

I will be running (jogging?  walking?) in the Jerusalem Marathon on March 1st as part of Team Darkaynu.  As you know, I have the honor of spending my days with an inspirational group of young women with special needs.  Our students come to Israel from their homes overseas.  They spend a year in our Holy Land learning about our people, our heritage, and most important: themselves.

I am running to spread awareness of our programs, to bring honor to our students who will be running beside me, and to raise much-needed funds for our scholarship fund.  Our students and their families are thrilled at the opportunity to spend such an incredible year in Eretz Yisrael.  We are equally thrilled to offer this opportunity and do whatever we can to ease the financial burden to these families.
