Join us in making an impact on the spiritual well-being of cancer patients and their families in Israel!

We are raising $18,000 to reach our overall goal $100,000 in order to launch a new Pastoral Counseling Initiative for the first two years at Soroka Medical Center's new Legacy Heritage Oncology Center and Dr. Larry Norton Institute. This fund will enable the program to run for the first year and provide spritual support to hundreds of individuals and their family members, as they struggle with cancer.

Pastoral Counseling research has collected evidence demonstrating that addressing patients’ spiritual needs is associated with a higher quality of life, less fear, less anxiety, and a general increased feeling of peace of mind. There is a proven connection betweenn faith and spirituality and physical healing. Our goal is to build upon that body of research in order to develop a spiritual counseling program to the residents of the Negev, while serving as a model in the field.
