Shalvat Chayim is a home for Individuals having emotional/mental illness located in Israel, The last time the world was in trepidation was when the glory of Hashem was revealed and the Torah was given. Before Bnei Yisrael said Nassah Vnishmah the world was shaking with instability and people feared for their lives. After the nation was prepared to receive the Torah the three pillars which uphold the world-Torah, Avodah and Gimellus Chasadim-was finally complete.and in the merit of receiving the Torah, The world calmed down.

Therefore we took upon ourselves to restore a torn Sefer Torah for Shalvat Chayim to guarantee good health for the residents having severe mental illnesses and to bring the benefit of long life to all those who donate towards this very worthy project
