I am Liza, the Youth Ambassador to the Board of the Gabriel Project Mumbai. Please join me in donating for Monika to continue her high school education. Monika is a young girl in India who started to attend a private boarding school in 2018 just days after we raised $5,000 together, thank you! Monika and I have been pen pals since I was 8. She was chosen for me since she was one of the most promising students in the rural Ashte Village in Maharashtra, India. Monika's Dad told GPM, "We are lucky and grateful that our daughter gets admission in a good school and can focus on her education, otherwise we would not have been able to give her a good education in a good school, with a good future." In the past 5 years at school, she has learned Math, English, and 4 other languages. Her highest grade, and favorite class, is English, making it possible for me to text with her in English!

 In high school, the private boarding school only costs about $1,600 per year which includes: tuition, food, uniform, clothing, and a place to live.  We want to raise an additional $4,000 in order to sponsor Monika through her high school education. With the thoughtful help of the leaders of the Gabriel Project Mumbai, we learned that they spoke with the private school's administrators and we understand that they were so impressed that a group of Americans are supporting Monika's education!
