Hey guys, I'm Monica Vitale! I'm 23 years old, the 4th of 5 girls, and from the Detroit Metro area. During my high school and college years I participated in the March For Life, volunteered for the church, served at the soup kitchen,and was a corps member for the middle school youth group called Edge. All of these things were great learning experiences and blessings, but I wanted to grow more. For some time now, I have felt God calling me to missionary work but was never sure which ministry to join.......Never have I ever seen a ministry to passionate on spreading the love of Christ to others(Christians and Non-Christians) as Hard as Nails. The compassion, sacrifice, and the authenticity of this ministry is what drew me to this organization. 

You may be wondering, "What is Hard as Nails? I've never heard of it." Hard as Nails Ministry is a “Catholic, traveling, evangelization ministry" on a mission to awaken the world to the power of God’s love. It is a Catholic group that reaches out to all faiths, Christian or Non-Christian. It was founded by Justin Fatica in 2002, a Catholic evangelist zealous about sharing Christ with others. His devotion to God, his family, and his faith is so inspiring and authentic.

Since the ministry's founding, it has traveled to over 44 states and 7 countries visiting schools, youth rallies, formation events, conferences, college campuses, and more.Through these events, the lives of over 1.2 million people have been touched....bringing them to encounter and form a relationship with Jesus Christ!

All of the missionaries, myself included, live 100% off of donations from family, friends, and believers in the mission generously gifted. Every missionary must raise $10,000 each to live with ministry for the entirety of the time we are there, which is one year. All fo the money goes toward travel expenses (plane fare, gas for the bus, overnight accomodations, housing, etc) food, training, the dedicated staff, etc. Will you consider supporting my mission (if possible, through monthly donations)?
