The Jared Scott Miller Library!

When Cheryl and Paul Miller of Cleveland, Ohio, were considering how to honor the memory of their beloved son Jared—who tragically passed away in 2013 at the age of 34—they knew the tribute had to reflect his deep connection to India. Jared had a special love for the country, the Tamil language, books, and, most of all, working with children.

In partnership with Gabriel Project Mumbai, Cheryl and Paul have brought Jared’s passions to life through the creation of a new children’s library: The Jared Scott Miller Library. Located in a vulnerable tribal region of India, the library will provide children with access to books in both English and local languages, multimedia learning tools, and a vibrant space to discover the joy of reading and education.

Together, Cheryl and Paul Miller and Gabriel Project Mumbai are proud to create a permanent home for this library—a lasting tribute that will honor Jared’s life by inspiring a love of learning in countless children for years to come.

Gabriel Project Mumbai is honored to accept donations on behalf of this meaningful initiative, which is already becoming a beacon of knowledge and wonder for hundreds of village children.
