Hi Everyone,
My name is Dominic Vitale. I am 18 years old and am a missionary with Hard as Nails Ministries. I have already spent one year with the ministry, but God asked me to come back for a second year.
Here is a little about myself. I have lived in Michigan my whole life. I was born and raised Catholic. Growing up my parish was Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Sterling Heights. Here there were many opportunities to get involved. I graduated from highschool in 2019. At that time I thought I would go straight to a university, but God desired me to first serve at Hard as Nails.
Hard as Nails has changed my life and changes the lives of so many others. It is a Catholic evangelization ministry started in 2002, and our vision is to make a world where no one suffers alone. Although I was born and raised Catholic, it was being a missionary with Hard as Nails that helped me truly understand Christ’s love for me and desire it for others. There are so many people suffering who do not have a relationship with Jesus, and on top of that they are suffering alone. This ministry comes to them on a human level, shows them they are not alone, and gives them an encounter with the remedy, Jesus Christ.
We reach communities, especially youth, through school and church events throughout the United States. In the past, Hard as Nails has travelled to 44 States and reached over 1.2 million people through over 1,000 events. I can’t wait to see where God will call this us this year.
One of my favorite memories from last year took place at a Family Parish Mission in Wisconsin. At this event there was adoration and Benediction. At one point of the night the priest took Jesus and carried him around the church, approaching families and blessing them with Jesus. There was one family in particular who were all hugging each other and crying together. It was so powerful. Christ was truly healing them that night.
As a missionary, I will travel with the ministry and help in any way. In order to make this possible, I need to fundraise $12,000 which covers the cost of my living expenses. Please help me. God has blessed me with the time and capacity of serving the ministry, but I do not have the means. Any amount is appreciated, whether it is 5 dollars, 500 dollars, or the full 12,000. I know God will provide. Also, please pray. In your support and prayers you play a part in the ministry and in furthering the mission of awakening the world to the power of God’s love.
Thank you and God Bless!
Dominic Vitale
Some give by going to the missions, others go by giving. Without both, there are no missions.
