James & Pepsi Crockett

James Crockett - Captain of Good Expectation and Managing Director of Jus’ Sail

A Royal Yachting Association (RYA) certified Offshore Yachtmaster since 1998, and now an International Yacht Training (IYT) Worldwide Instructor, I have been fortunate enough to sail throughout the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean, The Mediterranean, The Whitsundays of Australia, The Galapagos, UK, New Zealand and Kingdom of Tonga. Between 1997 and 2001 I was an instructor for Actionquest and Seamester Programs a yacht-based experiential education company for Teens and College Students.

Spending time in some of most beautiful areas of the world my passion for the environment and local cultures grew into a commitment to ensuring that tourism played a positive role in maintaining the health of the destinations in which the tourism industry operated. This interest led to me gaining an MSc in Responsible Tourism Management at The International Centre for Responsible Tourism in the UK. Through which I came to work in St Lucia as a consultant on an EU funded community based ecotourism development project. Having lived in St Lucia since 2010 I am a dual UK and St Lucian citizen who calls St Lucia home. My commitment to developing responsible tourism products remains as strong as ever. The Jus' Sail Foundation and its youth training program is a highlight of my career in this field.

Pepsi Demacque-Crockett - Creative Director student coach and all round attention to details person!

Pepsi’s family hail from the small fishing village of Canaries on the West Coast of St Lucia, although she was born in London after her parents emigrated there in the 1950’s. Pepsi has worked extensively in the music and entertainment industry and has always dreamed of living an island life with a family business to attend to. Jus’ Sail is the embodiment of that dream…

Pepsi’s natural care for others and attention to detail make her the perfect coach for our youth training program students and also ensure that our charter guests have the best possible time aboard with us. If you are in Pepsi's hands you're sure to feel valued, cared for and supported. Her personal touch is felt in everything that Jus' Sail does.
