Andrew Spiegel
Biography: Andrew Spiegel, Executive Director, Global Colon Cancer Alliance
Spiegel is co-founder of the Colon Cancer Alliance, the leading US based national patient advocacy organization dedicated to colon cancer. Mr. Spiegel, an attorney, besides being a co-founder of the organization and longtime board member of the Alliance became CEO in January of 2008 and he ran the CCA for nearly 5 years, before undertaking his next venture, the Global Colon Cancer Association.
Currently, Spiegel is co-founder and executive director of the Global Colon Cancer Association, an international patient advocacy organization.
Spiegel is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Alliance of Patient Organizations (IAPO). He is Immediate Past Chair of the Digestive Disease National Committee (DDNC). He is on the Stand Up to Cancer Advocate Advisory Council. He is co-founder and serves on the steering committee of the Alliance for Safe Biologic Medicines, and is an active member of many other health care coalitions and organizations.
