DROR offers local Bet Shemesh young women the chance to enhance their social, academic, and physical well-being, allowing them to succeed as leaders and aspire to new heights.

DROR operates currently in three local girls' high schools and the students that are selected to participate are offered a tailor made program combining scholastic support, athletic training and volunteer activities.

The program has been designed so that it will be applied in additional schools as we grow. In just a few years of operation, we at DROR have already seen the positive impact on our girls’ through their improved academic results as well as their enhanced self-image and more positive approach to life.

At DROR, we know that with the right guidance and support, young women can grow and succeed to become strong and confident members of the community.  DROR works to identify students that need a little extra push to succeed and help get them on the path to educational and personal success.

With the help of the teachers, guidance counselors, and principals of the schools to identify the right participants for the DROR program, we provide intensive Math, English and Hebrew literature support. All courses are offered in groups with a high teacher/student ratio and level of interaction. Krav Maga, Hip Hop, and running sessions are built into the program to further encourage the role that fitness and team work have in the positive development of young women. The pinnacle of the girls' training is for the Jerusalem Marathon each spring, where #TEAMDROR members are encouraged to challenge themselves beyond their expectations.
