Kfar Hassidim Youth Village addresses the special needs of 400+ disadvantaged teenage immigrants and at-risk teenagers, from Ethiopia, India (descendants of Bnei Menashe one of the ten lost tribes of Israel), the former Soviet Union, and the Ukraine providing them with a stimulating junior high school and high school education and a nurturing second home.

Our teenagers come from throughout Israel, from vastly different cultures and backgrounds. Often, these teenagers come from unstable home situations, or are borderline learning disabled and fall “between the cracks” in their local school system. Today at Kfar Hassidim, with the support of the staff, these young people aspire to obtain a high school diploma, enter the army or a national service program, get higher education, secure a job, and ultimately, establish their homes and families in Israel.

We help our teenagers:

· Get through the trauma of being youth at-risk

· Learn life skills to be productive members of Israeli society

· Connect with adult mentors to answer questions associated with normal adolescence

· Advocate for their basic needs such as clothing, food and shelter
