Oorah's simple, straightforward goal is to give Jewish children and their families opportunities to become active and productive members of their community. We accomplish this through our specially developed programs, focusing on education, extracurricular activities, and family enrichment.

Oorah is unique because it functions on a person-by-person basis, creating relationships with individuals. Each one becomes part of the Oorah family, and we find them the best resources with which they can enhance their lives. Young or older, single or married, student or working person, intellectual or emotional, with some Jewish education or none at all – Oorah finds the connection that suits each person.
