Everyone knows that kids around the world live in poverty. We know that they have limited access to clean drinking water, nutritious food, and quality education. 

Even so, it is still hard to picture what this means on the ground, unless you see it every day. Our students have the most beautiful smiles, but seeing children of five or six with rotten teeth is very hard to accept. 

It would take so little to educate our kids on the importance of oral hygiene. By providing them with toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a bar of soap, we can teach them about taking care of their bodies as the first step to spreading awareness of basic health.
